Wandsworth Swimming Club bagged 10 medals at the first weekend of Surrey County Championships, leaving coach Kamilla Kozlowska on a high.
Competing at the Surrey Sports Park in Guildford, the Wandsworth stars brought home two golds, four silvers and four bronze medals.
Maia Dunleavy led the charge in the 15-year-old group, winning a gold, silver and two bronze medals.
Kozlowska said: “This was a great start to the Surrey Championships. We came away with 10 medals and a further 15 top eight finishers. We are now looking forward to more success over the rest of the Championships.”
This weekend, swimmers head to Guildford Spectrum for the next round of events, and the final weekend starts on February 27 at Crystal Palace.
Medallists: Gold: Phyllida Britton (800m freestyle), Maia Dunleavy (100m freestyle). Silver: Phyllida Britton (400m freestyle), Morgan Penney (100m breaststroke), Maia Dunleavy (100m backstroke), Tom Page (100 butterfly). Bronze: Beatrice Britton (100m breaststroke), Maia Dunleavy (800 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Tom Page (400m freestyle).
