Bag a bargain this weekend (November 13 and 14) at Thrive’s Battersea Garden Sale at its main garden next to the Millennium Arena.
The disability gardening charity is literally selling off the contents of its main garden before building work starts later this month on creating a fantastic new area for disabled gardeners.
Items for sale include a log cabin, paving slabs, granite cobble stones, bags of gravel, thick rope and trellis, along with hundreds of plants and the award-winning Battersea Garden compost!
The new building planned for the main garden will be much better suited to meet the needs of London's disabled gardeners who come to Thrive every day.
The sale forms part of Thrive's autumn fair and family fun weekend between 11am and 3pm. Entrance is free and there will be activities for children, but the main aim of the weekend is to sell off the garden!
Thrive's main garden is in Battersea Park on East Carriage Drive. Tel: 020 7720 2212 for more information.
