There aren’t many better ways to spend a Saturday in London than with a trip to the stunning Battersea Power Station.
The iconic landmark with its famous white chimneys is up there with my favourite buildings in the capital.
We headed there a shopping trip and needed some fuel beforehand so took a trip to TOZI Grand Café.
The Italian eatery, best known for their small plates, has beautiful view of the Power Station through its floor to ceiling windows making it the perfect spot to take it all in.
And the sleek interior of the restaurant matches the post-modern revamp of the surrounding area beautifully.
The café serves brunch from noon until 4pm, so we stopped by a 2pm to take a break in the middle of our shopping trip.
Their menu features classics like eggs benedict, smoked salmon and eggs, and mushrooms and spinach on toast.
I went for the pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup while my partner went for avocado and egg on toast.
Both dishes were delicious and were evidently made with fresh ingredients, the bacon was perfectly crispy while the pancakes were light and fluffy,
The reality is that you could put any café in that location and people would flock there to take a break from shopping and admire the view – but TOZI's food was seriously good.
