A man has been taken to hospital and another arrested following an incident in Wandsworth.
Ambulance crews were called to Trinity Road in Wandsworth this morning (July 23) at around 11am to an assault.
An incident response officer was sent to the scene along with ambulance crews and an air ambulance.
One man was arrested and detained under the Mental Health Act.
Another man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
His condition is currently unknown.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at around 11:15hrs on Tuesday, 23 July to a report of an assault on Trinity Road, Wandsworth.
"A man was arrested and detained under the Mental Health Act.
"Another man was taken to hospital where he remains. We await an update on his condition."
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.11pm on Tuesday 23 July to reports of an incident in Trinity Road, SW18.
“We sent several resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in five minutes.
“Our crews treated one man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.”
