A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Vauxhall.
The incident happened in Dorest Road shortly before 9pm yesterday (September 8).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a boy injured.
He was taken to hospital where his condition was assesed as non life threatening but potentially life-changing.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
He has been taken into police custody.
Police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called to Dorset Road, SW8, shortly before 9pm on Friday, 8 September to reports of a stabbing.
"Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS).
"A 15-year-old boy was found with stab injuries.
"He was taken to hospital.
"His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening but potentially life-changing.
"A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
"He has been taken into custody.
"A crime scene was put in place before being closed. Enquiries continue."
