A teenager has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Brixton.
Officers were called to Brixton Road just before 2pm yesterday (June 5).
A male, believed aged 16, was found at the location with a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
His condition is not life threatening.
A crime scene remains in place and there has been no arrests at this stage.
Police investigations continue.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers were called at 13:54hrs on Monday, 5 June to Brixton Road, SW9.
“A male, believed aged 16, was found at the location with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.
“A crime scene is in place.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD3921/5June.
“You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
