Police have issued an update on the condition of a man after a shooting in Streatham.
The incident happened in Rama Close at 11.30pm on April 24.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man in his 40s injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was initially assessed as critical.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed today (April 27) his condition is now non-life-threatening.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
The full statement from Metropolitan Police says: “Police were called at approximately 11.30pm on Monday, 24 April to reports of a shooting in Rama Close, SW16.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 40s, suffering gunshot injuries.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment and remains there in a critical condition.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD7591/24Apr.
“You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
