A worker has died in an incident at a recycling centre in Wandsworth.
The member of staff died at the Smugglers Way Materials Recycling Facility on Monday (April 24), police have confirmed.
According to the BBC, work at the site in Wandsworth has been suspended while an investigation takes place.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 1.19pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, but the death was "unexpected but not suspicious".
The man's family has been informed.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 13:19hrs on Monday, 24 April to reports of an incident at a waste facility in Smugglers Way SW18.
“A member of staff, aged in his 40s, was pronounce dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is being treated as unexpected, but is not suspicious.”
