A man has been charged with murder after a man died following a stabbing in a flat in Lambeth.
Police and paramedics were called to the block of flats in Hicken Road on February 11 to find a man critically injured.
Chester Goffe, 57, was taken to hospital with stab injuries and died a short time later.
Peter Lalgie-Williams, of Hicken Road in SW2, was charged today (February 13) with murder.
The 56-year-old will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later today.
Forensic examinations were carried out on the block of flats and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives investigating a death in Lambeth have charged a man with murder.
Peter Lalgie-Williams, 56 (16.05.66), of Hicken Road, SW2, was charged on Monday, 13 February with the murder of 57-year-old Chester Goffe.
“He will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later today.
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 01:30hrs on Saturday, 11 February to a critically injured man at a flat in Hicken Road, SW2.
“Chester Goffe was taken to a London hospital where he died a short time later.
