A BOY and four other people have been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Wandsworth.
The incident happened in Cabul Road at around 7.30pm on August 14.
Police and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
Five pedestrians, including two children, were found injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers say a 10-year-old boy suffered serious injuries which are believed to be life-changing.
He currently remains in a hospital and is receiving ongoing treatment.
A 72-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of motoring offences including causing serious injury.
He has been bailed to a date in mid-September pending further enquiries.
Detective Constable Benjamin Simpson from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This is a very sad incident in which multiple pedestrians were injured in a private car park at a memorial service.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has any information to come forward and contact the police.’’

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 7.30pm on Sunday, 14 August to reports of a collision involving a car and a number of pedestrians on Cabul Road, SW11.
"The car subsequently collided with a tree.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
“Five people, including two children, were taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 10-year-old boy suffered serious injuries which are believed to be life-changing.
“He currently remains in a hospital and is receiving ongoing treatment.
“The 72-year-old driver stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of motoring offences including causing serious injury.
“He has been bailed to a date in mid-September pending further enquiries.”
