A MOPED rider has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Battersea.
The incident happened in Battersea Bridge Road shortly after 2pm yesterday (August 9).
Police and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The rider of the moped was found injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said “Police were called shortly after 14:00hrs on Tuesday, 9 August to reports of a collision involving a car and moped on Battersea Bridge Road.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
“The rider was taken to hospital; his injuries are not life-threatening.
“There were no arrests.”
