A large quantity of drugs and £1,500 has been found inside a home in Mitcham.
Mitcham police officers carried out a search warrant at a home in Mitcham and found a large quantity of drugs alongside £1,500 in cash.
Scales, snap bags, and other drug supply equipment was also found.
A suspect has been put in custody.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Not just rushing about on Blues “Response team B EAST researched, planned and executed a search warrant an address in Mitcham.
“Known for drugs supply they thought an early morning door knocking would be suitable.
“Knocking politely with our big red key we found a large quantity of drugs alongside £1,500 in cash.
“Scales, snap bags, and other drug supply paraphernalia was also located.
“We were a bit sorry for the early call and the disruption to his business, so we offered him a nice hot meal and room for the night in our custody suite.”
