A man has died after being hit by a train near Clapham Junction.
A casualty on the track was reported shortly after 2.35pm on June 22.
Police and ambulance crews attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police were called to the line near Clapham Junction at 2.36pm on Wednesday 22 June following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
