A woman has been arrested after allegedly fleeing from police while wearing a balaclava with a large amount of cannabis on her.
The incident occurred in Roehampton yesterday at around 5.40pm.
Officers say they asked the woman on an e-scooter to stop, but she allegedly ran from them on foot.
She was soon caught and detained.
The woman was searched and allegedly found with a large amount of cannabis on her.
She was arrested on suspicion of intent to supply Class B drugs.
She remains in custody.
Wandsworth Police tweeted: “Officers saw woman in Roehampton yday around 17:40 wearing a balaclava on e-scooter.
“Signalled to stop, but short foot chase led to her being detained.
“Property searched, large amount of cannabis found.
“Arrested for intent to supply Class B. Remains in custody.”
