A man is fighting for his life after a crash with a van in Tooting.
The crash, which involved a van and a pedestrian, happened just before 11.50am on Monday.
Police, ambulance crews, the fire brigade and an air ambulance attended the scene.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital and is in a life-threatening condition.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
No one has been arrested.
Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on London Road, SW17, at 11:48hrs on Monday, 25 April.
"The collision involved a van and a pedestrian.
"Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and the air ambulance.
"The pedestrian, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital and is in a life-threatening condition.
"Road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
"There have been no arrests at this stage; enquiries continue."
