Nearly 100 pubs and bars will be celebrating this Easter weekend as they've been named in The National Pub & Bar Awards for 2022.
With a total of 94 pubs and bars scooping the prestigious County Winner title.
And two London pubs were able to bag the acclaimed award with The Oyster Shed and Blue Boar Pub both winning.
The Oyster Shed is a riverside bar and is known for being one of the City's finest watering holes.
With plenty of space and gorgeous panoramic views of the city and a mouth-watering menu that helped get the venue on the list.
Also getting a well-deserved spot on the list is the Blue Boar Pub found in Westminster, it is a proper pub that serves quality food and international beers and ales.
The pub even has special events taking place weekly, with live music every Thursday and a Planting Trees & Bloody Mary Special event.
The National Pub & Bar Awards aims to put exemplary on-trade businesses across the UK in the national spotlight, showcasing the hospitality industry’s diversity, creativity and vital importance to the UK economy.
So far the pubs that have been selected have been shortlisted for nominations with the awards ceremony taking place Wednesday 22 June when winners will be announced for each category and region.
Host of the event Tristan O’Hana, editor of Pub & Bar magazine said: With visitor numbers increasing, it’s more important than ever for operators to deliver a standout service during every visit – no matter the business in question. These 94 County Winners are wonderful examples of the brilliance of today’s modern on-trade. If you live near one of these sites, make sure you pay them a visit!”
