Part of a restaurant has been damaged after a fire in Clapham Common.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in The Pavement at around 8.10am today.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the fire was at the Joe’s Pizza restaurant.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire was under control shortly after 8.45am.
Two fire engines and a turntable ladder from Battersea and Clapham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called to a fire at a restaurant on The Pavement in Clapham Common.
“Part of a single-storey restaurant was damaged by fire.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 8.10am and the fire was under control by 8.46am.
“Two fire engines and a turntable ladder from Battersea and Clapham fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
