Toots, Tooting Market's resident cat and chief mouse catcher has been missing since Thursday.

The stall owners, staff and visitors are missing Toots very dearly.

Toots is young black short-haired black moggy with a white splodge on his chest.

Love Art, a creative space hosting workshops and art shop, said that Toots acted as a therapy cat for many and is loved by a wide circle of people.

Toots has been at Tooting Market since being a kitten and was from a local litter.

The market asks you contact them or Love Art with any information about the missing cat.

“Last seen a couple of days ago and we're hoping he's trying to find a lady companion.

“Frustrating as he is booked into the vets next week to become less of a man.

“We all miss him and want him back home in the market.”
