A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting an emergency worker at Streatham station.
Officers were called to the scene at around 9pm yesterday (March 7) to reports of a trespasser.
He was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and also on suspicion of trespassing.
The suspect was then taken to police custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Streatham Hill station at 9pm last night (March 7) following reports of a trespasser.
“Officers quickly attended, and a man was arrested on suspicion of trespass and assaulting an emergency worker.
“He was taken to police custody for questioning.”
