A man has been found with head injuries after a gun was fired near a Sainsbury's store in Streatham.
Armed police and ambulance crews flocked to reports of gun shots in Streatham High Road at around 8.15pm last night (Wednesday).
A search of the area was carried out and a man, aged in his 20s, was found with head injuries near to Tooting Bec Lido.
He was taken to hospital.
His condition is not life-threatening.
Police are working to establish how the man recieved the injuries.
There have been no arrests.
Enquiries are ongoing.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 20:16hrs on Wednesday, 2 March to reports of a firearms discharge in Streatham High Road.
"Armed officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A search of the area was carried out and a man, aged in his 20s, was found with head injuries near to Tooting Bec Lido.
"He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
"Officers are working to establish how the man received his injuries.
"There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
"Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 6831/2 Mar.
