A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre after being injured by a train at Brixton station.
Emergency services were called to the line shortly after 11.30pm yesterday (February 4) to reports of a man injured by a train.
An ambulance crew, an advance paramedic, members of the hazardous area response team, two medics in fast response cars and an incident response officer attended the scene.
A man was treated at the scene and rushed as a priority to a major trauma centre.
The first medical team arrived in under three minutes.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 11:36pm yesterday evening (4 February) to reports of a person injured by a train at Brixton Railway Station, Brixton.
"We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, members of our hazardous area response team, two medics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. The first of our medics arrived in under three minutes.
"A man was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority."
