A huge fire has broken out in Elephant and Castle that has enveloped parts of central London in smoke.
Footage appears to show a giant "fire ball" erupting from an area underneath Elephant and Castle station.
Plumes of smoke can be seen pouring out of the station while sirens sound and emergency services attend the scene.

One Twitter user, who was in the area, said:
"Numerous police vehicles are present, as well as at least one ambulance and three fire engines, that I can see (there may be more)."
"The security perimeter around the fire is being extended."
