A lorry driver has denied causing death by careless driving after a crash in Battersea two years ago.
Stephen Hempenstall, 49, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday over the death of 29-year-old Italian design student Gionvanna Capiello.
Ms Capiello, who studied at the University of the Arts, died after her bicycle collided with a lorry at a junction on Wandsworth Road on July 4 2019.
Hempenstall, of Thornhill Road, Uxbridge, pleaded guilty to causing her death by careless driving.
Judge Nigel Lickley QC adjourned the case until July 16 for a trial date and venue to be set.
The defendant was granted continued bail.
