A man has died after he was fatally shot in Balham last night (June 17).
Police said the man, believed to be in his 20s, was found by first responders including London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics and Met Police officers on Bedford Hill Thursday night.
They were called there around 10.05pm to reports of a man suffering gunshot wounds, and attended the victim on arrival.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment but died soon afterwards.

"Despite the best efforts of the emergency services he was pronounced dead at 23:36hrs," a spokesperson for the Met Police said.
"Next of kin have been informed.
"A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
"Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing and there have been no arrests," they added.
Police are now appealing for information and urged correspondence with them quoting CAD8915/17June, or with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
An LAS spokesperson said:
"We were called at 10:49pm yesterday (17 June) to reports of a shooting on Bedford Hill, Balham.
"We dispatched an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and three paramedics in fast response cars. We also dispatched an advanced paramedic.
"We treated a person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre."
