A young man believed to be in his late teens has died after he was stabbed in Streatham this afternoon (Thursday, June 10).
Emergency first responders including police and paramedics attended the scene on Prentis Road in Streatham after 4pm on Thursday.
The Met Police said they were called there at 4.21pm to reports of a stabbing, and attending the location found "a male with a stab wound to the chest".

"He was taken to a hospital in central London where he was pronounced dead at 16:51hrs.
"It is believed the victim is in his late teens," a spokesperson for the Met Police said.
"Police are on the scene and there are currently road closures along Prentis Road.
"The public are advised to avoid the area," they added.
Police inquiries into the stabbing continue.
