A man has been left fighting for his life after he was stabbed at a restaurant in Tooting on Friday ( May 14).
Police were called at around 7.40 pm after a 25-year-old man presented himself at a south London hospital with stab injuries.
Officers carried out enquiries which established the victim had been assaulted around ten minutes earlier at a restaurant in Upper Tooting Road, SW17.
Police have confirmed that the victim remains in a critical condition.
His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, where he remains in custody.
