Police have released CCTV footage which shows a man being punched in the face in Clapham.
Officers are appealing to the public to help identify a suspect who seriously assaulted the man in Clapham High Street last year.
On Tuesday, 20 October 2020, at around 10.15pm on Clapham High Street in Lambeth, a man was assaulted outside a licensed premises.
Two men were speaking with the victim when one of them pushed him and then punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.
He was found by a member of the public who called an ambulance and notified the police.
He was taken to a nearby hospital with severe head injuries.
Detective Constable Olivia Broughton, from Central South Command Unit, said: “Violent behaviour such as this will not be tolerated.
“We will do everything in our power to stop aggressive behaviour on the streets of London and would like your help to identify the man responsible for this attack.”
