Wandsworth Town train station is set for a fresh new look as part of a £1.5 million repainting programme.
The programme, which is ongoing, will see stations across the South Western Railway network repainted both internally and externally.
When SWR took over the South Western Franchise in 2017, they committed to maintaining and enhancing stations across the network.
The company says that the repainting programme demonstrates the company’s determination to improve customer service at every stage of the journey.
Alan Penlington, South Western Railway’s Director of Customer Experience, said: “At South Western Railway, we are committed to improving our stations and performance at every stage of the journey.
"We know that great customer service consists of more than getting people from A to B, and our determination to enhance our stations is just one example of improving the wider travel experience.
“The £1.5 million investment will smarten up a range of stations across our network and we hope customers at Wandsworth Town will enjoy the new look.”
