A CHILD is in serious condition after being hit by a car outside a primary school in Wandsworth yesterday afternoon ( September 8).
Met Police were called after a car mounted the pavement outside Beatrix Potter Primary School in Openview, at around 3.11pm.
Three adults and five children were rushed to hospital. Two of the children had serious injuries.
One child is in a "serious but stable condition" after suffering from a head injury.
The other child, who had a leg injury is now "stable and recovering".
A tree and roadside furniture were also struck during the incident.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: "The driver of the car stopped at the scene, neither they nor the two children also in the car, were injured.
"No arrests, enquiries continue."
