Two teenagers from Mitcham have been arrested in connection with the murder of a teenager in Wandsworth.
A 16-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were arrested yesterday, June 7, on suspicion of murdering Mahamed Hassan, 17.
He was fatally stabbed while cycling on the York Road estate in the early hours of the morning on April 23.
Two other teenagers were arrested yesterday, an 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy from Stockwell.
All four currently remain in custody at south London police stations.
One man has already been charged with Mahamed’s murder.
Tyriq Aboagye, 18, of Westbury Road, Ilford was charged on April 29 and is currently remanded in custody ahead of a trial scheduled for 16 October.
Two people previously arrested - a 17-year-old boy arrested April 28 and a 19-year-old man arrested on April 26 - have both been released with no further action being taken at this time.
