Unseasonably warm weather could hit London this week, a welcome change following a cold snap that saw snow lash across the capital over the weekend.
Flurries fell across the south and south-east London and north Surrey on Saturday and Sunday as the mercury plunged to as low as 3C.
The Met Office has said the chilly temperatures, which carried on throughout yesterday, will be replaced by balmy weather later in the week.
The mercury will soar to highs of 12C by Wednesday, forecasters said.
