Growhampton will be hosting a free Day Camp this Friday for children aged 5-11. We would like to invite your children and their friends to join in the fun.
Children will discover how to grow vegetables, learn about healthy food and have the opportunity to spend time exploring nature and the great outdoors. We will be sowing seeds, playing games, making arts and crafts from recycled materials and going on an exciting sensory trail around our edible campus, which will include a visit to our chickens! The day will be full of enjoyable and memorable activities and games.
Growhampton has recently secured funding from Wandsworth Council to deliver food education sessions in schools and youth groups throughout the Wandsworth borough. This is an opportunity for your child to take part in our very first session that will take place here on campus.
The session runs this Friday, 28 August from 9am-3pm.
If parents would like to drop in/out during the day, please contact Teresa Sheppard beforehand
You can book your place via Eventbrite
For more information please get in touch, please also feel free to share with anyone who might be interested!
