Firefighters: Always happy to help
Firefighters were called to rescue a person stuck in a lift for an hour-and-a-half.
A crew from Esher fire station were called at 11.50am on Saturday, May 24, to relieve a slightly panicked and tired shopper from Wilkinson in Bridge Street, Walton.
A spokesman for the crew confirmed there were no injuries from being uncomfortably cooped up for so long and the woman was removed quickly once the crew arrived.
