A one-act play drawn from the experiences of a phone sex operator of more than six years is ready to set the record straight.
Phone Whore won the critics' choice award at the 2013 Houston Fringe Festival, the award for best female solo show at the 2012 San Francisco Fringe Festival and pick of the fringe - drama at the 2011 Victoria Fringe Festival.
Cameryn Moore, described by the Spectator as having "as much energy as a spring tornado" is a playwright/performer, activist, educator and a phone sex operator of more than six years.
Truth and taboo collide in this intimate visit with a phone sex operator, the instructions to audience members are to "sit back and buckle up". A question and answer session will follow the show.
Ms Moore says: "I originally wrote and performed Phone Whore to let people know what the job is like; it's definitely not what you see in the movies. But I saw pretty quickly that the play affected people more deeply than that.
"It gets audiences thinking about the lines we draw in out sexual imaginations and why."
While not performing or promoting her shows Ms Moore is to be found on pavements around the UK providing bespoke typewritten erotica, with her world-famous travelling Smut Stand.
