Growhampton’s The Hive Café, on the University of Roehampton’s campus, will be running a special event on the evening of Monday 24 November in partnership with Roehampton based charity Regenerate and City Lights. The evening will consist of four talks with Q&A all about social enterprises.
Nick Owen, manager of The Hive and I will be speaking about the Growhampton project in addition to the amazing Andy Smith from Regenerate. Also on the bill will be founder of Raise The Roof Kenya, Holly Bantleman, who raises funds to improve education, healthcare and extracurricular activities such as sports in Kenya.
Lastly, Kerry Astin from FAST will discuss how her social start up is equipping young people in and around the Patmore Estate in Vauxhall to positively contribute to the transformation of their own lives, families & community.
The event is open to the public and runs from 6.30-9.30pm and will take place in The Hive Café, Digby Square, Digby Stuart College. Refreshments will be provided – please book in by emailing Emily.parkman@roehampton.ac.uk.
