Saint Cecilia’s, Wandsworth Year 9 Rugby XV fought off tough competition from Winston Churchil school to win the final of the Surrey Schools Plate by 49 - 19.
The match, held recently at Cobham Rugby Club, was filled with tries and quick defences.
Our team’s desire and attitude was easy to see from the first half when three tries in quick succession kept them one point ahead of the opposition and we never looked back.
The Year 9 rugby XV demonstrated fantastic team spirit and the SCW victory was well deserved.
