This weekends fixture saw Banter FC visit Barnes to play Fulham Compton. The game didn't go exactly to plan for Banter, and for the first thirty minutes of the game they kept surrendering possession far too cheaply. The contest was an end to end affair with neither keeper challenged until Banter won a free kick on the left which was played into the Fulham box and allowed Marcus Jarvis to get to the ball and unleash a vicious half volley across the keeper and into the left corner of the goal. Soon after that Bas Morally set up Jack Evans who rifled in a first time shot that was just inches the wrong side of the post. Then after a cross from Marcus Jarvis on the left wing, the ball fell to Jack Hart who shot and scored. Banter's third goal came from an ambitous punt over the top by Jack Evans, that left Rickey Burgess with a one on one which he duly scored.Goal number four was scored by Marcus Jarvis after he collected the ball on the edge of Fulhams area, and skipped one challenge to then shoot the ball into the bottom right corner of the net. The fifth goal was scored by Jack Evans, after a high clearance was brought down by him and shot, low and into the keepers left bottom corner from all of thirty five yards. A special mention for Bas Morally, who started the game as striker, and after an injury to Dylan Merchant, then moved into centre back position putting in a fine display of skill, control, and passing.
