Alicia from ClaphamMums.com and Eilish from The Baby Care Company (www.thebabycarecompany.co.uk) joined together to host a social for Mums-to-be on 17th October at All About the Girl on Northcote Road.
The idea for the event came from the fact new mums in the area rarely have the familial network close by, so we wanted to offer local Mums-to-be the chance to meet people they'd like to see again once they've had their babies. These friendships can be a great support when your little one arrives.
The evening was a great success and was fully-booked at 30 people - we even ended up having a waiting list!
All About the Girl gave hand massages and The Baby Care Company gave Top Tips on getting baby to sleep, but the emphasis was on making it easy for everyone to meet one another.
We also presented each Mum-to-be with a goodie bag packed full of offers from local businesses carefully selected for newborn mum Based on information supplied by eilish saba.
