A pub in Brixton has reopened following a significant redesign.
The Hope & Anchor, located on Acre Lane, Brixton, has been transformed into a modern hub for all-day dining and drinking, complete with a new menu featuring British ingredients with a Brixton twist.
The redesign, led by Camelot agency, incorporates a mix of modern and traditional elements, all in homage to the quintessential British pub.
New features include terracotta, green, and neutral tones, dark oak wood panelling, leather booths, and low-back sofa seating.
The pub's garden has also been revamped, boasting 13 private Tiki huts and seasonal decorations.
The new menu offers a range of updated dishes, including electric brisket croquettes, crispy haddock tacos with pickled fennel and Urfa chilli, smash burgers, chicken parm supreme with torn burrata and marinara sauce, and a Starman Shepherd’s pie with clotted cream mash.
The pub's new Sunday Roast offering features a choice of rare roast beef or roast chicken, served with a variety of sides.
The revamped bar now offers a selection of craft beers, global wines, and a varied selection of cocktails.
As the evening draws in, the upstairs bar, The Rebel Room, comes to life.
The late-night bar features a private bar, dance floor, and lounge area, and is available for private hire.
A smaller section can be reserved to create a VIP section for more intimate gatherings.
The pub's extensive beer garden is one of the largest in London, providing a spacious area for patrons to enjoy their meals and drinks.
