London’s Bengali community will be arriving in Surbiton next weekend for a cultural celebration featuring music, dance and food.
BengalihearT is holding its third Annual Summer Festival at the Surbiton Assembly Rooms in Maple Road on Sunday, June 27.
The organisation, which promotes Bengali cultural life in the UK, is showcasing classical dancing by an award-winning troop, a musical extravaganza and a special event for children including a display of their own artistic talent.
There will also be a Hindu ceremony to mark the full moon.
Entrance is free and food and sweetmeats will be available throughout the day.
