A woman is in a life-threatening condition after being hit by a bus in south west London today (Friday).
Police were called to Buckingham Palace Road at 11.16am today (May 3) after reports of a crash involving a bus and pedestrian.
The woman was treated at the scene.
Police have confirmed that her injuries are life threatening.
AA Maps says that Victoria Bus Station remains closed and there is a detour in operation for more than a dozen bus routes.
Road closures remain in place.
Westminster Police said: “Police were called to Buckingham Palace Road at 11:16hrs following reports of a Road Traffic Collison involving a bus and pedestrian.
“A woman was treated on scene; her injuries have been confirmed to be life threatening. Road closures are currently in place.”
