A Clapham preparatory school is the highest-ranked in south west London on The Sunday Times’ latest list.
Oliver House School, in Nightingale Lane, is ranked first among other schools in the area, sixth in the capital and 35th overall.
Published this month, The Sunday Times' Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools list is released annually and analyses thousands of schools across the United Kingdom.
Chair of governors Ella Leonard said: “This has taken an enormous amount of hard work from all concerned and it shows that character based education, and education in the virtues enables our children to flourish in all areas of their lives including their academic achievement.
“To achieve these results consistently in a non-academically selective school is truly wonderful.”
Oliver House opened in September 2004 and is one of four schools in the Parents, Children and Teachers in Partnership (PACT) trust.
Headmaster Rob Farrell said: “This is a huge achievement and I would like thank all of the teachers and support staff whose dedication and effort is reflected in these results.
“I would also like to thank the children who worked so hard to attain such excellent results. I am incredibly proud of our school and of our children."
