The English Democrat Party has announced a candidate for the Tooting by-election on June 16.
Graham Moore, who stood in Erith and Thamesmead in the 2015 General Election, will be the party's choice on the ballot paper when Tooting goes to the polls next month.
Mr Moore said his family owned pie and mash shops in the borough and still live in the area.
He said: "We strongly believe that England should have its own parliament back. We have no bars on race, religion or past politics and strongly believe in removing the divide and rule politics of the British Establishment."
The party's main aims are to implement an English parliament and a separate English pound for use only in England.
He will be up against Dan Watkins, the Conservative candidate, Rosena Allin-Khan for the Labour Party, as well as Bobby 'Elmo' Smith for the Give Me Back Elmo Party.
Also announced is Alan Howling Laud Hope for the Monster Raving Loony Party and Alex Glassbrook for the Liberal Democrats.
